Privacy Policy

LeadAxis (“LeadAxis,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides commercial real estate intelligence and CRM software at leadaxis.io. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It includes specific disclosures about data we access through Google APIs when you connect a Gmail account.
1. Information we collect
- Account information you provide when you sign up — name, email address, company, and authentication credentials managed by our identity provider.
- Product data you create or import while using LeadAxis — property lists, contacts, notes, tasks, pipelines, message templates, and campaign activity.
- Connected-account data — when you connect a third-party service (such as Gmail), data we access from that service on your behalf, described in Section 3.
- Usage and device data — log data, IP address, browser type, and actions taken in the app, used to operate and secure the service.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the LeadAxis service.
- To display your email conversations inside the CRM and link them to contacts.
- To send messages and outreach that you initiate from your connected accounts.
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your data to train generalized machine-learning models, and we do not sell your personal information.
3. Google user data (Gmail)
When you choose to connect a Gmail account, Google asks you to grant LeadAxis specific permissions (“scopes”). We request only the scopes needed to operate the CRM email features:
- See, edit, create, and send email (gmail.modify) — to sync your recent inbox and sent messages into the CRM inbox, thread replies correctly, and mark messages as read.
- Send email on your behalf (gmail.send) — to send outreach and replies from your own address so responses thread naturally in Gmail.
- Basic profile and email address (userinfo.profile, userinfo.email) — to identify which mailbox you connected.
What we store. We store the email messages and metadata needed to power your CRM inbox (sender, recipients, subject, body, timestamps, and attachment metadata) in our secured database. We store the OAuth refresh token that lets us maintain the connection; it is encrypted at rest. We do not store your Google account password.
Sharing. Google user data is accessible only to you and the authorized members of your LeadAxis team workspace. We do not sell it and do not share it with third parties except the infrastructure subprocessors that host the service on our behalf (Section 5), or as required by law.
Limited Use disclosure.LeadAxis’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Gmail data for advertising, and we do not transfer or sell it. Humans do not read your email except where necessary for security, to comply with law, as part of aggregated and anonymized internal operations, or with your explicit consent.
4. How you can revoke access and delete data
You can disconnect a connected Gmail account at any time from Settings → Email accounts in LeadAxis, which revokes our access token and stops further syncing. You may also revoke access directly from your Google Account permissions. To request deletion of stored email content or your account data, contact us at [email protected].
5. Subprocessors and storage
We use reputable infrastructure providers to host and operate the service, including cloud hosting and a managed database. These providers process data only to provide services to us and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations. Data is stored in the United States.
6. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you disconnect an account or delete data, we remove the associated stored content within a commercially reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, encryption of sensitive credentials at rest, access controls, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
8. Children's privacy
LeadAxis is a business tool not directed to children under 16.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by notice within the app.
